The procedures used during the production of Colombo Mobili furniture are numerous and are part of a long company tradition.
Colombo Mobili plans to pass along from generation to generation the ability and the experience needed to carry out the hand craftsmanship for which the company is known.


Gilt was used according to the styles of nineteenth century Europe. A sheet of pure gold was skilfully used to cover an inlaid piece of furniture. This use of gold supplied ‘luminosity’ and ‘ lightness’ to the furniture whilst enhancing the shapes and geometry.
